JANUARY 20 Painting A Day fabric

"Cockeyed Cherry Blossom Girl"
This must be what happens when you try to meet a challenge of a piece of art a day. Many of us have been staying up very late to do this wonderful January Challenge.
Misty Mawn asked us to use buttons and fabrics and ribbon. This skirt came out of that part of the challenge. I really like how it came out.
I am trying to reset my clock...2 am each night, then 1 am...but stayed awake till 2.

I think she is pretty even with the eyes at different levels. It gives her character!!

Your work is always so lovely!
Her skirt is so beautiful..her whole costume really. Very unusual. The Art Fiber Fest sounds like a great time. There are so many more artsy events out west than here in New England. Good luck with your class! Loribeth
