Beautiful gifts

I love to make still lifes...I got another wonderful drawer unit from a great folk artist. It will go down to my studio but I wanted to play with it first. He used hardware for the drawer pulls. Then I placed my oil painting that I just posted on etsy in the still life. The colors are so yummy....
I took my Birthday roses and dried them....and now look at them......
this is the place of dreams.......
the white roses I have been posting came our so beautiful dried.......

and the little gift from Lulu is so lovely on my neck...first time I have worn it...

it makes me smile...my arms weren't long enough to get the necklace and my face......

Hi Deirdra,
Love your still lifes and your painting. The roses did come out beautifully. They smell good dried too.
Thanks for your kind comments too-they meant a lot.

Oh your painting is wonderful!
So is your new set of drawers and the lovely flowers. You have a taste for beauty.
Hi Deirdra, Your site is so inspiring! The roses are beautiful. You left a comment on my blog inquiring as to whether we'd met at A&S Portland and, no, I wasn't there. I'll be teaching in Hampton again this year. Do you attend?
Hi Deirdra,
I've been enjoying your lovely blog and paintings. Thank you for visiting my blog and I'm glad the studio video helped. In regards to the Digital Collage class, without knowing how much you know about PS it would be difficult for me to say if it is too elementary or not. If you want to email me and talk about it I would be happy to answer any questions. You can contact me here http://www.shabbycottagestudio.com/store/WsContact.asp

Cheers,
Gail
