Dreaming of Celtic Ireland

I have been revisiting a most amazing journey taken with my husband to the Celtic Lands of Ireland, Wales and Scotland. We went 5 times to these lands. 3 times we lead small little tours.

If you would like to go with us on a tour sometime we will go again if we can get at least 20 people. We are hoping that the release of the New Celtic Video will make that happen. It is a project that I have been working on for 6 years off and on. It is finally at the home stretch. One more final edit. I have done all I can do of the color correction and editing and I am sending it off to a Capital City Video our neighbor and friends business.

It was such a magical time. Running off to Ireland having never used a video camera in my life. Film 30 hours of film on the edges of the earth in the Celtic Lands....ferry journeys and ancient empty places. I have been truly blessed in my life. Then came the frustrations and hard work of editing.

I have been working for 5 days on this cover. It takes time to learn to make your vision a reality. Each project is a massive learning curve. Photoshop has so much power. I learned to add golden glows and Celtic knots that look like watermarks.

Now I am dreaming of Spain! Does anyone have any idea's for going to Barcelona? Christmas would be fun!

Traveling to Ireland,Scotland, etc. is a dream of mine. My parents went to Ireland several times...I'm glad they had that chance before they passed.
They had wonderful trips and came back each time with wonderful stories to tell...

I'd love to go on a tour with you. Don't know if I can, though. I couldn't find the video, Deirdra.

Wow, what a magical tour that would be. I would love to go some time. My husband's family is supposed to be from northern england, from a little obscure moor that has their same last name--- Sleightholme or Sleightholm (our Americanized name dropped the last "e") I would love to take him there to visit his roots...

How beautiful...am listening to him right now. What talent. I must order some of his CD's...it's the kind of music I play in my studio...dissertation music my sis used to call it...she'd listen to these soft tunes while working on her Ph.D!! LOL

I must have been a Celt in another life because I'm so drawn to the art, music and history. My European side of my family was from Spain...no real proof the Celts were there, so I must have something from my Jewish Irish great-great grandmother...didn't even know there were Jews in Ireland!! LOL Anway, love the music and will order his music as soon as I save up a bit...I spend all my extra $$ on art supplies and music!!!Have a great weekend.

Oh my, I would love to go! Please put my husband and I on the list of possible travelers. And congrats about the video! It must be so wonderful to see it finally coming to fruition, and the cover looks great!
Deidra,
I just told hubbie when we come up to Woodburn to see family I really hope to schedule it around a concert time. It would be wonderful to see one. I just love the work that you two do.

Keep watching for my sister in law. She is a profesional pianist and organist so is playing all over your area too. Her name is Debra Huddleston.
