Self Portait Wednesday & Rainy Saturday's..........
It is self portrait Wednesday...not exactly a self portrait...but Lulu came over and I asked her to show me how she does her cool self portraits...click here
So I got a little lesson...and finished it up my self today so I could post it..she did most of it...I am a little Cleopatra ...???
Oh so what to do on a rainy spring day....go to my favorite Nursery "Dancing Oaks" and pick out plants...a few for Lulu too as it was a late birthday present....

I've not had much luck with getting my dolls through the stuffing stage. The first doll's material frayed and broke open so I figured I needed a thicker muslin. I got a thicker muslin and the same thing happened. I'm not rough on them and I don't over-stuff. I think I've narrowed down the problem to the thread since it's the common denominator in the two dolls. I bought the thicker, stronger thread but I think it's too thick and, by piercing it through the material, is weakening the muslin causing it to fray.
So, I've had to put the c&c doll on the shelf for now because I was getting frustrated.
Maybe 3rd time is a charm...
