MY TRUE HEART




Received a very special review of my first finished painting in the mix media style from a close friend.

"I like it very much - there's something magical about it - It would look good in your house in particular - I see the same artistic sensibility in this as I do in your decorating. Anyway, I see more of you in this than I have before. You should take it seriously because as we both should know by now there is no serious forms of art really. It just whether or not the form is a good vehicle for your own expressiveness."

Wow - what a brilliant statement from your friend! I often waiver back and forth regarding my art but in the end I do it because it pleases me and that is quite fun. When another finds joy in it as well, that just doubles the pleasure. :o)
