It is self portrait Wednesday...not exactly a self portrait...but Lulu came over and I asked her to show me how she does her cool self portraits...click here

So I got a little lesson...and finished it up my self today so I could post it..she did most of it...I am a little Cleopatra ...???Oh so what to do on a rainy spring day....go to my favorite Nursery "Dancing Oaks" and pick out plants...a few for Lulu too as it was a late birthday present....
We ran and played between the showers.....

Okay, so I'm still somewhat of a Blogger newbie... I finally found the "search" blog option and made it to look at your camper! yay! Previously I had been going through your blog post by post, backwards, and continually got lost in your artwork - it's simply amazing, you know!:)
So, anyway, I LOVE that little camper you did up! Mine's coming right along, and we will hopefully be using it by next weekend! I'll post pix of her maiden voyage!
We MUST keep in touch... (I tried to email all this, but I don't have your email. Apparently that's key. Ha!)

Ahhh... There's absolutely nothing that can compare with a day outdoors in nature. And I would be remiss if I didn't thank you for visiting my blog and your lovely comment on my Artfest trade. Very sweet!

Hi Deirdra,

I've not had much luck with getting my dolls through the stuffing stage. The first doll's material frayed and broke open so I figured I needed a thicker muslin. I got a thicker muslin and the same thing happened. I'm not rough on them and I don't over-stuff. I think I've narrowed down the problem to the thread since it's the common denominator in the two dolls. I bought the thicker, stronger thread but I think it's too thick and, by piercing it through the material, is weakening the muslin causing it to fray.

So, I've had to put the c&c doll on the shelf for now because I was getting frustrated.

Maybe 3rd time is a charm...
I want to see what she is wearing around her neck!
