DECEMBER VIEWS DAY 19 No Christmas Party

This was from 3 day's ago when the snow was starting to melt.
Today I woke up to even more snow.....5 inch's....

With a russian coat on John, my antique fur, gloves, and ski poles we trudged down the 1 mile snowy slippery hill to get our car. Then in the dark night we got on the main road and started to drive.....but a car was blocking the road every one had to turn around....it was even more dangerous going the other way....
so...we trudged back up the hill with a little stop at the neighbors...they feed us dinner....the children played with us....I think party's are going to be with the sweet neighbors this year...more more snow Sat! The children are coming to use our hill and sled....Christmas is like little house on the Prairie this year.

That last view is so beautiful... It reminds me of the Colville Valley where my husband grew up, north of here just an hour and a half.

We're getting hammered with snow too. The weekend was okay, but 6" today, and then another two storms blowing in Christmas Eve/Christmas and then Saturday-Tuesday straight. It will be a very quiet Christmas for us...
